| | | Rules: | Applications for Elevated Contemporary Horror will open from June 21 through July 4, 2021. You must spend the designated length of your Impact program in Los Angeles. We have future plans to expand Impact to international hubs and virtual programs but those participating in current programs must move to Los Angeles for the duration of the program.
Impact applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old.
The application consists of questions regarding you and your project, along with areas for you to upload:
*A 30-second video of you pitching yourself and your project (see the application for the specific prompt)
*A full-length sample screenplay or teleplay that showcases your writing ability
*A link to a previously produced work of yours (if applicable)
Additionally, you must read and sign the Impact x Skydance Submission Release. Uploading the video and sample written work and signing the Submission Release are required. You cannot submit an application without them.
Applications are now being accepted for live action TV series in the genre of Contemporary Horror.
Please only submit projects for this specific category. Any submission of a project that does not fit this category will be immediately disqualified.
Submission Period
Applications are being accepted until July 4, 2021 at 11:59pm PT. Applications will not be accepted after that time.
| | | Prizes and Awards: | Applications will be vetted via Impact’s review process before a subset of applicants are interviewed. From there, a group of finalists will have their proposed project presented to Skydance by the Impact team. Writers then selected by Skydance will have the opportunity to enter into an if/come agreement with Skydance to develop the project further.
| | | More: | Writers who are selected by Skydance for this opportunity will work directly with the Skydance TV development team on developing their project further.
